Mr Dzobo is an Energy Strategy, Planning, Modelling and Load Forecast expert with over 30 years of working experience in the energy and related sectors. He has expertise across load forecasting/demand modelling, energy efficiency, demand-side management, energy planning, Integrated Resource Planning (IRP), power sector planning & policy, among others. In his recent consulting experiences, he has developed comprehensive Energy Demand/Load Forecasts on different assignments in Ghana, Sierra Leone & other West Africa countries. He has been involved in developing Integrated Power Sector Master Plans for Ghana, with varied roles in Load / Demand forecasting at national and regional levels, Demand Side Management (DSM) & Energy Efficiency Potential Analysis. He was the lead in Energy Demand / Load Forecasting as part of the master plan development that estimated energy and peak demand for the various energy institutions. In other roles he was lead expert with oversight responsibility for the Strategic National Energy Plan for Ghana. Over the decades of his working experiences, he has also led in the integration of energy efficiency and demand side management into energy sector planning and policy options. He has evaluated the impact of energy efficiency and demand-side scenario options; development and review of questionnaires for the collection and collation of data on energy use patterns in the residential, commercial/service, industrial, agricultural and transport sectors of the economy; assessing energy supply strategies to meet the projected energy demand. Expertise covers Power & Natural Gas Modelling Methodologies, Power & Natural Gas Demand Forecast, Power & Natural Gas Supply Scenarios, Strategic National Energy Planning, etc. He has utilised advanced internationally recognised models and analytical tools for various assignments.
